The Peter Danes Pavilion
We’re very proud to be building a new pavilion, and in April 2021 had our plans approved by Epping Forest District Council. The Club started the build in late 2021 and expects the new pavilion to open during the 2024 season.
The Club is only able to do this because Peter Danes, who sadly died in April 2020, left us an incredible legacy.
Pete was central to the life of the club for over 60 years, first as a player and then as groundsman. He will be remembered by everyone who knew him as a clubman who made spending time at the Common special.
If you’d like to help, we are asking all those who are able to, to buy a ‘brick’ and donate to Nazeing Common Cricket Club.
The foundations are done and the steels are up… next the roof
Despite some unavoidable delays we’re making progress. The building is now ready for the roof to go on and work will restart soon.
